Picking a Research Topic That Actually Makes Sense

Standartinė#1 » 05 Geg 2026, 10:23

I was talking to a friend the other day about how confusing it can be to choose something to study, especially when it comes to project management research topics. There are so many directions you can go, and honestly, not all of them feel practical or interesting.

What helped me was thinking about real-life problems. Like, why do some projects fail even when the planning looks solid? Or how teams handle pressure when deadlines get tight. Those questions feel more real than just picking a topic from a textbook.

Sometimes the best ideas come from your own experience, even small ones. Maybe a group project that didn’t go well, or one that surprisingly did. That’s usually where meaningful research starts—when it actually connects to something you’ve seen or felt.
